MID-WEIGHT DESIGNER

Full Time

THE ROLE

• Working alongside Senior Designers & Directors to manage projects of all sizes to ensure smooth running and successful delivery.

• Produce floor plans, elevations and joinery drawings both by hand and digitally.

• Develop design presentations and mood boards for pitches including furniture and fabric selection.

• Support the design team in meetings and in interactions with suppliers, contractors and consultants.

• Good technical knowledge and ability to design bespoke furniture and joinery.

• Highly creative with a broad supplier knowledge and proactive approach to maintaining and updating fabric and product library.

• FF&E procurement- obtaining prices, detailing and sending purchase orders. Independently maintaining budgets and project records.

• Good on-site experience managing installations, handling sub-contractors and carrying out styling and dressing. Efficient approach to resolving any snagging issues.

EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED SKILLS

• 5+ years experience in residential design

• Proficiency in AutoCAD & Adobe Suite

• Good initiative and a proactive approach to work

• Passionate, creative and hardworking with a natural design flare.

• A team player who contributes to a positive team-based culture.

• Strong ability to communicate confidently both verbally on the phone, and in writing.
