PENTHOUSE RETREAT

Following on from a previous successful collaboration with Caudwell Collection at the exclusive Parc Du Cap development, we were delighted to be instructed once again.

We were asked to design another of Caudwell’s much sort after penthouse duplex apartments in this exclusive community, located on Cap D’Antibes Looking at the surrounding environment in this part of the South of France, we took inspiration for their interior schemes from the local architecture with its pastel hues and surrounding natural habitation.

The soft tones selected, work as a cool contrast to the blue skies and sea views that can be seen from all aspects of this property and compliment the luxurious finishes used by Caudwell Collection throughout. In one of the key living spaces, natural tones & textures are blended with a pastel yellow, inspired by the local mimosa flower, and combined with a lovely pastel pink. In one of the generous bedrooms a flash of warm orange picks up on the plaster finishes seen on buildings in the local area. These calming colour combinations give the penthouse a modern, understated, and luxurious vibe.

The palettes used and artwork selected reference the breath-taking, ever-changing colours of the outdoors - from sunrise to sunset. This penthouse has the added luxury of two extensive terrace spaces, of which one covers almost the full expanse of the footprint of the property and boasts a superb private infinity pool on the rooftop. This property is as much about the outside spaces as the interior. We linked the inside to the terraces by selecting beautiful outdoor furniture and zoning the areas for different uses at different times of the day, creating a collection of outdoor “rooms”. This clever space planning enables the owner to take full advantage of the exceptional al fresco Provençal luxury living which this penthouse has to offer.
