A GUIDE ON HOW TO CREATE A BEAUTIFUL BATHROOM

We have been busy designing some really special bathrooms recently and thought it was time to share our guide on how to create a beautiful bathroom. From dark & moody to soft organic tones, we love the challenge of designing the right bathroom for each individual project.

STORAGE

One of the most important factors is to consider where all those endless products can be stored away so that the end result is a calm uncluttered space in which to retreat at the end of a long day. However small or large, we make sure we incorporate bespoke joinery with storage solutions to suit our clients’ personal needs. Hidden cupboards behind mirrors and drawers under basins are just two ways of adding storage space. We also always like to include a niche or some open shelves for those pieces which you do want to display.

LIGHTING

Lighting is another crucial element. Some bathrooms have little or no natural light so with the introduction of mirroring and clever lighting features we can inject enough task lighting that might be needed for makeup and shaving, but also ensuring a low light setting for night time when you might just want a glow of light to accompany a soak in the bath before bed.

INJECT COLOUR

As with any space in the home, bathrooms need just as much style & personality as any other room. They can often be a great space to be a little more creative in choice. A bold wallpaper, deep paint colour or striking tile option can be a fantastic way to bring a bathroom to life.
