OCEAN FRONT HOME

Our brief for this tired family beach house was to transform it and update it for cross generational family use in the 21st century. The family had owned the house for over 50 years and we worked with them to reconfigure the spaces to give them flexible, modern living that works as well in the winter as it does in the summer.

A huge bonus with this property was the location - facing directly onto the private beach accessed via a gate at the bottom of the garden, we ensured every room maximised this mesmerising view of the ocean by the clever placing of furniture and extending glazing wherever we could.
